When Krispy Krunchy Chicken embarked on a journey to revamp their headquarters at Brickworks Atlanta in the Midtown West industrial complex, they entrusted Hendrick as their partner to design a fun, versatile space. This 8,500-square-foot office suite needed to serve as a home base for both local and remote team members while also connecting them and guests to the organization’s mission through its vibrant brand.
Central to this partnership was a shared commitment to human-centric design and social and environmental responsibility. This ensured that the space not only represented Krispy Krunchy Chicken’s vision but also supported its workforce in a tailored, multi-use, and efficient environment.
“Working with Krispy Krunchy Chicken and translating their corporate image into the workplace built environment was a unique exercise in the melding of design and branding,” said Jorge Mateo, Hendrick principal. “The brand is fun and the people behind the brand are fun. We wanted to really play that up, create a sense of place and celebrate the culture.”
